The holidays seem so far away, but in retail-land we're in full-Christmas swing! Here are some initial layouts for our holidays sign package this year. We're hanging all our hats on candy this year, transforming the front of the store into a confection-inspired candy emporium. Inspiration is taken from Dylans Candy Bar, Candyland, and FAO Schwartz. How can I not be cheerful working with this color palette?

HG Metro signage

The work for HG Metro goes on...I'm presently exploring different signage options for a poster that will hang over
a collection of the merch...it needs to represent the energy, look and feel of the collection, without being too specific in style. A challenge, but a fun one!

Resusable Bags

Lately I've been working on designs for our Spring '10 reusable bags, using the bright colors and graphics forecast for that season. These bags are so much fun, it's hard to stop! Here are some of the final contenders.

HG Loft logos

This fall HomeGoods will be starting a new collection of West Elm-inspired merchandise - contemporary, clean lines, with a bit of whimsy. I just presented an initial logo exploration with a few potential names, playing with simple graphics and icons to reflect the modern and younger feel of the merch. It's an exciting direction for HG.

Holiday '09 Gift cards.

I just started working on the HG gift cards for Holiday. Although it's kind of hard to be thinking about Christmas in May (please, can we just get to the consistenly warm weather before we start thinking about winter again!) gift cards are one of my favorite things to work on. So many possibilities, so many fun treatments! Foil! Die-cut! Scratch n' sniff!

Summer Style Guide

I'm currently working on a layout for our Summer Style Guide - a PDF that will be emailed to newspaper and magazine editors around the country. It's fun and summery while still being clean and simple. Fun stuff!
